Little Pigs Role Playing
by Cheryl Villareal on Mar 12th, 2011
For our unit on family.. we decided to invite some of the parents to come and be the teachers for the day. Through this, they get to share a little bit of their expertise such as cooking, art and stories! We had so much fun watching the parents teach the kids... and I honestly learned a lot from them as well! - Besides giving parents the opportunity to teach and share their knowledge, this also gives us the opportunity to spend time with th...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Can't go over it, can't go under it. Uh-oh, we have to go through it!" If you can draw or p...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

The Hungry Caterpillar goes ROUND and COLORFUL
by Cheryl Villareal on Jul 27th, 2010
This week, the kiddos are learning all about the circle shape! Shapes are such a fun thing to teach because there's just so many things we can do! Though, we do have to restrict ourselves from doing too much cause we might ran out of activities for future lessons. (hehe) - For our circle activity, we decided to have the children make caterpillars! If you're a kindergarten teacher, I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say there are several w...Read More » Tags Share Comments (3 )
