St. Peter Midnight Run 2013 on Oct. 31, 2013
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 23rd, 2013
Once a year, adults are given a free pass to act like kids again and play dress up! I wouldn’t mind playing dress up everyday… but then again, people might think I’m weird! haha. St. Peter Life Plan had their first run back in 2010 which I am proud to have been part of. That time, races were priced at 500 and up while St. Peter priced theirs at 50 pesos! Being so inexpensive, I expected the worst but was happy to have been wrong. Come 2011,...Read More » Tags Share Comments (3 )

My First Marshal Experience at Greentennial’s Rescue Run!
by Cheryl Villareal on Dec 31st, 2011
Just 2 weeks ago, Cagayan de Oro and Iligan was hit with a huge typhoon that destroyed several homes and took away thousands of lives. Typhoon Sendong was one of the strongest to ever hit the two places, and they sure weren’t ready for it. In the spirit of bayanihan, everyone else tried to help out by sending donations in cash and kind. Others even experienced going to Mindanao and seeing the damage first hand. Rescue Run: Community Run for Typhoon Sendong Victims
by Cheryl Villareal on Dec 24th, 2011
An entire town was nearly wiped out after a strong typhoon hit them just days ago. While I was comfortably hanging around with friends and “Facebooking”, THOUSANDS of people were fighting for their lives. I was shocked to come home and read all about it in the news… worse to even see videos of the people who lost their families, loved ones and home during the tragedy. Typhoon Sendong left at least 3,000 dead and thousands others homeless in...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Get Ready for The Greentennial Half Marathon
by Cheryl Villareal on Apr 23rd, 2011

But just before they finished it, the tragedies in Japan happened which led them to organize a run for the benefit of the victi...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )
