by Clarissa Almeida on Jul 29th, 2012
- Last July 25, I felt so overwhelmed as I represented Little Running Teacher's Cheryl Golangco at the press launch of the most awaited running event of the year throughout Southeast Asia - The Adidas King of the Road 2012. The event was held at Aracama Filipino Cuisine, The Fort Entertainment Center, Global City, Taguig and was graced by the race organizers – ProActive and Without Limits, sponsors, press and media crowd, celebrity endorsers...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Run 800: 7-Eleven’s 800th Store Celebration!
by Cheryl Villareal on Jul 15th, 2012
Whoever you are reading this post, I’m sure you’ve heard of the famous 24hr. convenient store 7-Eleven… who hasn’t? It’s in every single corner of every single street and even sometimes serves as the landmark of residential units. We grew up with the convenience of having a 24-hour convenience store like 7-eleven around to “provide” us with our everyday needs. I see 7-Eleven so much that I’ve even seen corners with tw...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Schools Run for School Rooms Comments and Results
by Cheryl Villareal on Jul 13th, 2012
It was a rainy day, yet students and other runners still arrived at the Fort Bonifacio to participate in what was said to be one of the cleanest and most organized runs! Last July 8, 2012, I was among the 15,000++ runners who participated in a fun run organized by Athletes-in-Action called Schools Run for Schools Room! The run was composed of mostly students from different schools and universities who all wanted to run for a cause an...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Are you ready for another OUTBREAK?
by Cheryl Villareal on Jul 2nd, 2012
Just barely 3 months ago, several zombies were found lurking in Nuvali, Laguna trying to find something, or rather SOMEONE to feast on. Hundreds of runners survived, but there were also those who did not make it through this unfortunate ZOMBIE OUTBREAK! This July 28, 2012… word of another zombie outbreak happening at the Bonifacio Global City has gotten out. They say these zombies will be lurking the streets of Makati between 6pm...Read More » Tags Share Comments (3 )

Reverse the Bad: Join WWF’s Reverse Run!
by Cheryl Villareal on Jun 26th, 2012
Look around, even without researching the facts and statistics, you could already see with your own two eyes how much the world around us is changing. Though technology has helped make life a lot easier than it used to be, it has also made us lazy while also adding to the pollution and garbage here on earth. We enjoy the benefits of all these new technology too much that we forget our responsibilities to our planet. Remember, it’s okay to take,...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Athletes in Action and FILA present: Schools Run for School Rooms
by Cheryl Villareal on Jun 23rd, 2012
Last year’s typhoon Sendong left several families and households without shelter, food and clothing. For most of them, the clothes on their backs were all they had left. Though six months have already gone by, the affected areas are still a long way to rebuilding what was destroyed. This June, children all over the Philippines get ready for school. Most if not all schools in fact have already begun. However, I can’t say the same for the sc...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

World Vision Run – “Towards Fullness of Life!”
by Cheryl Villareal on Jun 1st, 2012
Poverty in the Philippines is crazy! Even without looking at the statistics, you could see with your own two eyes just how bad it is! And what saddens me even more is when I see the mom or dad carrying a new born child while holding a 1 year old child in the other hand. I know this all comes back to the laws and whatever, but that’s not what I’m writing about. These kids were born with nothing, but it doesn’t mean they have to grow up havin...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Thorlos Socks: Give Your Feet the Pampering it Deserves!
by Cheryl Villareal on May 16th, 2012
I never really cared what type of socks I used when I run, sometimes, I just use my normal everyday socks. However, as I started going longer distances, I felt the need to also buy a sock brand with more padding than my regular socks. These new pair of socks worked perfectly for me. It cushioned my feet and kept it from hitting the ground too hard. I felt as if I were able to run stronger thanks to these socks. I never really realize...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )
