Soleus Run for the Aspins: A Fund Raising Awareness Against Dog Cruelty and Abuse
by Cheryl Villareal on Aug 28th, 2015
I’m an animal lover, I’ve always love all kinds of animas since I was young. If only I had enough funds, I would want to put up a no-kill shelter and save our animals from being hurt or abused. It just pains me to see how heartless some people can be that they choose to hurt and abuse helpless little animals. This October, Soleus is putting together a run to help raise awareness and funds to victims of animal abuse. The Soleus Run for t...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

by Cheryl Villareal on May 23rd, 2013
Meeeoooowwwwww!!! If you know me, then you’d know how much of an animal lover I am. I especially LOVE cats! In fact, I love them so much that I’ve adopted and picked up several stray cats ever since I was in Kindergarten! Today, I have 3 lovely cats living with me and my family. Cats are just about as talented as dogs, they just have their own ways of showing it. It’s about time someone created a show that will showcase these gifts. ...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Eric Carle Collage in Brown Bear Brown Bear
by Cheryl Villareal on Nov 27th, 2011
The kids have always loved BROWN BEAR, they love learning the different colors while also seeing the pictures of different animals! Moreover, they enjoy singing the song while looking at the pictures. This time, we wanted to try and make collages. So we had them pick which color they wanted and we mixed 2 other complimenting colors with it. So if they picked green, we’d give them GREEN, YELLOW and WHITE. If they picked PU...Read More » Tags Share Comments (2 )

I'm not sure if he's enjoying it or not, but you gotta love his reaction! It's like a cat porno! hahaha Wait for it! - - Gotta love the reaction! ha...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

My Cat CHASE plays fetch
by Cheryl Villareal on Dec 27th, 2010
I thought I'd take a break from my usual tutorials today to show a quick video of my pet cat, CHASE. He loves chasing anything, hence the name. Well, a few days ago, we noticed that he kept bringing his rattle back to my room every time it goes out. It was cute how he carried it in his mouth. Then suddenly, my brother kicks the toy downstairs. I doubted Chase would still go after it... but he did! and the rest is just pure cuteness. :) - ...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Animal Noses Finger Puppets
by Cheryl Villareal on Nov 11th, 2010
This is an activity I found on another blog site once again. I unfortunately saw it a long time ago and no longer remember what site it was! Send a reply if you think this came from your site and I would gladly acknowledge you. Children usually enjoy pretend play. Younger children still find it difficult but they still enjoy the funny games and cute toys used. Since we were learning all about our noses, we decided to let them try making their ...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Feed the animals
by Cheryl Villareal on Nov 4th, 2010
Just a few days ago, I shared the Pin the Nose on the animals activity. Most of the kids already knew which nose belonged to which animal even before we started. This time, we tried learning about the other things animals do with their noses. The kids all know that noses are used for smelling, but they have yet to learn how some animals use their noses for eating and picking up objects. To introduce to them how elephants eat, we prepared a sim...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Pin the Nose on the Animals
by Cheryl Villareal on Nov 1st, 2010
We were on our topic on noses and wanted to see if the kids knew which animal had which nose. The game is similar to Pin the Tail on the Donkey, only they aren't blindfolded and we're using the noses! Before anything else, we first showed them the pictures of animals with different noses. Some animals had long noses, others had short noses! Some had big noses, some had small noses! Later on, we showed them the different noses and even mixed it...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )
