The year has barely begun and last year’s Run United Philippine Marathon seems to have just ended yesterday and already the Run United Trilogy for 2013 is out!
Even after several years and trilogies, Run United still continues to surprise us with their race upgrades. So what’s in store for us this year? Read on!
Run United Trilogy 2013: Run United 1

Online Registration: January 21 to February 24, 2013
*For online registrants, complete race kit will be delivered within Feb 4 to Mar 3, 2013
In-Store Registration: February 4 to March 3 (March 11 cut off)

If you notice, the 5k category is no longer offered for RU 2 and RUPM. This is because after analyzing runners’ profiles, the Run United team noticed how runners level up from one race to the other. They start short but go further and further as they progress. Hence, the shorter categories were removed to allow more slots for the longer categories. Active Health is all about living a healthy lifestyle, hence, the team wants to focus more on the progressive athletes. It’s a good call.

Run United Trilogy Leg 1 Gun Start:
- 21km: 4:00am
- 10km: 5:30am
- 5km: 5:45am
- 500m 7:00am
Run United 2013 Singlet and Finisher’s Shirts:
Though the singlet and finisher’s shirt might not look so different, a new fabric was actually used. The back of the singlet and finisher’s shirt is made up of a special fabric that would allow our backs to dry faster. It is also made of a mesh material for increase comfort. Plus, the fabric is ligher than it used to be.
