Every week there’s a fun run somewhere in the Philippines. Almost every other week, there’s a big event or big marathon that all runners look forward to. Every runner wants to register for a race or two every month, but not every runner lives near Fort Bonifacio or other registration outlets. I remember having to pass by a mall or R.O.X. almost every other week because I wanted to register for a good run. It was out of my way, but I had to go before I run out of slots. Those days were really hassle-full days for me! …but I’m sure glad they’re over!

Gone are the days where you need to rush out from work to register for a run! Gone are the days wherein you needed to call a friend and ask them to register for you ‘coz you were out of town or out of the country! Those days are GONE GONE GONE!! Because now, we have Runners’ Runner to DELIVER OUR RACE KITS STRAIGHT TO OUR DOOR STEPS! Whooo!! The man behind this, Edwin Soriano, is a genius!

Last Friday, June 17, Runners’ Runner held an event at R.O.X. to further explain to the bloggers and guests how the site works. Moreover, some good news was shared that would make registering for a run even easier for all.

But before anything else, let me first tell you my personal experience with Runners’ Runner. A couple months ago, I wanted to register for Greentennial’s Run for Japan. There were a lot of registration sites but none of which were on the way. I could’ve gone to them, but I got off work late at night and only had the weekend to go to the mall or to R.O.X…so after much hesitation(at first), I finally decided to try Runners’ Runner.
–
I won’t lie, I WAS hesitant at first but after experiencing it first hand, all I can say is “Where have you been all this time Runners’ Runner?” Registering through the site really made everything much easier and hassle-free and worry free!
–
Here were my concerns and how they were resolved!
- I had no idea how the site worked and felt it was complicated. But after browsing a bit, I realized it was just a piece of cake! It was really simple and the site offers a STEP-BY-STEP tutorial on how to register for your next run online! Check it out here: http://www.runnersrunner.com/blog/support/how-to-register-for-your-next-big-run-on-runners-runner/
- I didn’t want to spend money on shipping either. But the great thing about Runners’ Runner is that there’s always a promo! Like the 5+1 promo (register 5 and get 1 free) or the free shipping promo wherein all kits are delivered for free to a single address if you register a group of runners at the same time (usually 5 or so) Besides, if you think about it… you’d be spending gas or money on your transportation anyway, so why not just let them ship your item and relax in the comforts of your home.
- Will my race kit reach me in time for the run I registered for? YES it will! You can always opt to just pick it up at R.O.X. but then again, having it delivered is much easier. Mine arrived several days before the run! However, if you want to be sure, you can always track your package through the site or email them for updates. Rest assured, they will also email you the status of your order!
- Can the site be trusted? Truth be told, there’s really no exact way to know if a site is real or just a scam. The best thing to do is check the testimonials and comments, and that’s just what I did. So here’s my testimonial: THE SITE CAN BE TRUSTED! IT’S QUICK, EASY and very RELIABLE! Thank you Runners Runner for making my life so much easier!

After just a few clicks, I was done! I then received a confirmation message through my email that looked something like this: (I blocked the details)

EASY!!!!

Anyway, exactly why am I blogging about this? Well it’s because even though Runners’ Runner was already working wonderfully in the past… they still decided to push it up a notch and make it even easier for the customers!

NOW: Besides Paypal, G-cash, Smart Money and Bank deposit, runners can now also pay through CREDIT CARD or BANCNET!
–
THEN: Only peso payments were accepted

After all the formalities, came the games! The night wouldn’t be complete without giving away some free stuff right? Up for grabs were race kits to the various fun runs mentioned above and FIVE dri-fit FIRST EDITION EatPrayRun shirts! I unfortunately failed to take pictures of the other winners because I had to take a phone call, but came back in time to catch the winners of EatPrayRun!
