Have you ever heard of UNIVERSAL COVERAGE? Honestly, I haven’t. I actually first heard about it during the recent launch of PhilHealth Nationwide Run last week. Universal Coverage is a type of government sponsored health plan that would provide healthcare coverage to all citizens. It doesn’t matter who, what or where you are, you deserve to be taken care of.
Philhealth understands just how important it is and hence aims to raise awareness of Universal Coverage through the upcoming PhilHealth Nationwide Run!
The PhilHealth Run 2013 is the first simultaneous nationwide run in the country. Participants across 18 sites and cities all over the Philippines including Iloilo, Davao and more will gather and run together for universal health coverage in the country and for mother and child protection.
