Working a 9 to 5 job for 5 days a week can be tough, tiring and even boring. I don’t remember the exact number but I remember attending a seminar where they mentioned how more than 90% of the population simply work to put food in their mouths and not because they actually enjoy what they’re doing. And even without going out and asking every individual personally, we all know how true that is. I bet a number of the people reading this are also bored with their jobs right now!
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em! Though the best advice to give to someone who doesn’t like his job is probably to quit it and find another one, it’s really easier said than done. So instead of quitting what you do, just quit what you think. It all boils down to ATTITUDE. Want to turn your workplace around? Then it’s time to put a spin on it with a little personality. “They call me Mr. personality, he’s so lovely!” (sorry, just had to sing haha)
Check out this traffic enforcer put a spin to a boring day on the job by making not only HIS day a whole lot better, but everyone else’s too! I especially love the way he spun it around by making people do random dance steps! I love the running man! haha I can’t help but smile as I imagine it. I’ve been a preschool teacher for 4 years, and I can honestly say I love being in the classroom! The best part about being a teacher is I get to put a spin on my job every single day! If I feel like it, I can enter the classroom wearing a wig or maybe I could put on some shades today? There are times I do role plays to get my kids to pay attention, and other times I come up with my own songs (even if I can’t sing too well). Whatever weird thing I do, the kids seem to love, and the more they love it, the more I fall in love with my job!
I can be anyone I want to be and so can you! It’s a gigantic world of play!
