October is SMILE month! Wouldn’t you agree that to be able to smile amidst all our worries is one of the best things in the world? It is after all the simplest and easiest way to show happiness. So what happens if you can’t smile? Several children suffer from cleft lip and cleft palate deformities, and because of this, smiling becomes a difficult task.
To commemorate SMILE month, Havaianas, the world’s favorite flip-flops is launching the “DESIGN A SMILE” campaign to spread cheer and share THOUSANDS of smiles with Filipino children!
“Design a Smile” will give children the chance to show the world their artistic talents and, at the same time, create better futures for the children of Operation Smile, a non-profit, volunteer medical organization that provides reconstructive surgery and healthcare to kids with facial deformities. It will be a series of one-day design contests from October 16 to November 14!
