Basically the Tatt Awards is a chance for different social media personalities to make their marks and be recognized! On its second year, the Tatt Awards reels in more nominations and votes from different blog sites and online personalities!
Nominations were open for less than a month and around 1000 influential bloggers were nominated across the different categories. Last June 13, 2012, the Tatt Council announced the top 5 nominees for each category at an awesome party held at 7th High!

- Bianca Gonzales: Bianca Gonzalez is a 29-year old TV host and model. She began her hosting stint on ABS-CBN’s morning show Umagang Kay Ganda last January 2012. She also hosts editions of the franchised reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
- Lea Salonga: Lea Salonga gathered awards after awards, bringing Filipino pride to the international community. Her achievements were not only of her own, but also served as honor to the nation.

- Gerry Alanguilan: Gerry is a comic book writer, artist, and publisher, with an unwavering advocacy of promoting and preserving Filipino artworks of comic illustrators of the past.
THE VISUALIZER: A picture is worth a thousand words, so it’s only fitting that we honor photographers as some of the best writers online! The Visualizer awards the best photo blogger who’s able to immortalize moments, objects, and just about anything online.
- Nina Sandejas: “As a music photographer, Nina Sandejas puts just as much excitement offstage as there is on it. STYLISIMO: From the latest threads to the most happening trends: the Stylisimo Award goes to the chic-est virtual fashion vixen!

THE VIDEO SLINGER: Who knew one could get his or her 15 minutes of fame in under five? The Video Slinger award goes to the most creative and exciting vlogger whose videos we found worthy of streaming into our homes!
- Ate Vangie: The Pinoy Virtual Assistant, Vangie, is the Filipino counterpart of the famous iPhone application ‘Siri’. “Macapuno Systems” launched its series of videos featuring Vangie, often viewed as a hilarious mix up of Filipino culture and technology.
- Bogart the Explorer: Bogart the Explorer is the man from Davao city who never parts with his cowboy hat, and goes around talking in a funny Australian accent. This is how Bogart the Explorer is known to his fans.
- Gerry Alangulian: Gerry Alanguilan, known as Komikero, is the face of the sensational, awfully hilarious 30-second ‘Hey Baby’ video of merely flashing his smile to his audience.
- Becky Nights: The cast is composed of Jake Galvez as a beauty artist, Matt Gozun as a fashion stylist, Buern Rodriguez as a hair expert and Divine Lee. These people are Manila-based fashion and beauty stylists who generally talk about anything that interests and tickles the minds of “beckies”.
- Jamich: The love team of Jamich, Michelle Liggayu and Jamvhille Sebastian, has spread like wildfire in the Filipino online community of Youtube. The featured love-and-hate relationship between the couple in their videos captured hundreds of thousands of fans, making each Jamich upload a must-watch.

THE TECH JUNKIE: Tech Junkie Award salutes the blogger who’s the most up-to-date with the newest technology, gadgets, and games.
- Abe Olandres: Better known as Yuga to his readers and fellow technopreneurs, Abe Olandres is listed as an influential tech expert in the Philippines primarily from his professional blogging cred in YugaTech.
- Jason De Villa: Other than acting as Editor-in-Chief for this geek-driven news and review site for local tech and gadgets, Jason mixes his passion for technology and education as a faculty member at UA&P and as a writer for several local magazines.
- Calvin Lo: Calvin Lo heads the team behind Pinoy.Tech.Blog (PTB) as editor and writer for the tech-focused blog founded in 2005. As a recognized voice in local tech news and opinion, PTB has been featured in TV and print in the past, and was a two-time consecutive finalist in the Philippine Web Awards.

THE THOUGHT MOVER: Hammer pants were a trend that never took off—unlike this trendsetter. The #Thought-Mover Award goes to the hashtag that trended the most online.
- Kimpoy Feliciano:19-year-old Filipino living in New Zealand and is called the “Boy Next Door” because of his popular comedic videos on pick-up lines called “Pinoy Banats.” Kimpoy is also a theater performer and was casted in the Miss Saigon Broadway play.
- Bianca Gonzales: Filipina TV host and model Bianca Gonzales gathered millions of Pinoy fans with all her media endeavors. She co-hosts Pinoy Big Brother, hosts Umagang Kay Ganda, and is currently the editor-at-large of Meg Magazine.
- Julie Ann San Jose: If you were ever on Twitter for the last month, you’d probably have seen JAPSMonth trending consistently. This is because of Julie Anne San Jose, with twitter username @MyJaps, an 18-year old singer, known to mass media as the Musical Pop Princess.
- Sinugbang Sugbo: Sinugbang Sugbo showcases funny but wise jokes and insights that are mostly cracked in Bisaya.
- Superstar Marian: Before you think that this is the actual account of Marian Rivera, let it be known that it serves as a parodic take on the characteristic nature of the actress. Marian Rivera was catapulted to superstardom when she bagged the lead role in the Philippine TV adaptation of the 1990’s hit Mexican soap opera Marimar.
