After a night out with my friends, I got up early on a Saturday morning to head to the Expo Kid II at Rockwell. The event was jam-packed and I honestly wanted to attend all the workshops but knew it wasn’t possible due to my tight schedule. So while I was busy deciding, my best friend Patricia suddenly comes up to me and tells me to accompany her to an event. When asked what event, she answered Expo Kid II. Turns out, her student will be leading one of the workshops! Ailli Cortez turned out to be my best friend’s student, and Ailli did a really good job in her workshop! An 8 year old just taught several of us how to draw!

According to Ailli, there are 5 simple things everyone should know before drawing. The dot, the circle, the semi-circle, the line and the angle. If you can do these, then you can draw anything! If you think about it… she’s actually right! Let me try it out…. hmm… I think I need more practice!

I walked around the expo to find several shops! A lot of them caught my attention! There were several stalls selling baby clothes! I wanted so bad to buy them all. But then again, I didn’t have a child yet…. I wanted to have a child at this very moment so I could let her wear all these beautiful clothes! In the end, I found a cute floral dress and decided to buy it for my tutee’s new born sister. I bought the dress from Practical Moms, and this was just one of the many other really really cute items they had! They even had a cute little santa outfit! Other shops which also sold cute clothes and other baby stuff were Contour and Tomatoberry. I really had a lot of fun at the expo and was not at all disappointed! Can’t wait for the Expo Kid III!
