Colored Leaf Wreath

Here in the Philippines, we only have 2 seasons: Summer and Rainy. But in other parts of the world, there are 4 – winter, spring, summer and fall (made you sing didn’t I?) Anyway, though we don’t have those seasons here, there is never anything wrong with teaching a little more. Most kids actually know all 4 seasons even more than our own because of all the cartoons and TV programs they often watch.

So though we cannot gather REAL leaves for our leaf wreath, we still made the best of it by printing leaves on colored paper! Improvise!

What you will need

  • Leaves print outs
  • Paper plate
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tape

What you will do

Step 1: Cut the middle part of the paper plate to leave a DONUT shape behind as the base of the wreath.

Step 2: Print out a variety of leaf patterns. I just googled these.

Step 3: Hand the leaves to the kids and let them start gluing the leaves around the paper plate.

Step 4: Let them dry for a while…

Step 5: Display them around your room! (In our case, we hung it in the living room)

Perfect way to welcome the fall season! :) Have a great day ahead everyone!
