YouTube Sensations, Jayesslee Visits the Philippines on June 21, 2012
by Cheryl Villareal on May 27th, 2012
I don’t know about you but I really enjoy listening to several YouTube artists more than the famous artists with their record labels. Maybe it’s because it’s more natural? Maybe because most of them are REALLY talented by heart! All I know is, YouTube sensations like Jason Chen, Joseph Vincent, AJ Raphael, David Choi are really good and I love them! Another YouTube sensation which I’m sure most of you know are the adorable Korean/ Austral...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Finding Myself in 9 Works Theatrical’s Stage Camp
by Cheryl Villareal on May 23rd, 2012
"Why do you sound that way?" "You're out of tune!" "You dance like a crazy horse" I've loved theater for the longest time. I love acting and just going crazy on stage. One of my favorite roles was playing a crazy lawyer with cerebral palsy in my college years. It was so challenging but I had the best time doing it! I've been in and out of theater since I was young, and my love for it never died down. After years of just missi...Read More » Tags Share Comments (3 )

Meyerf Travel Pack: The Suitcase for your Medicine
by Cheryl Villareal on May 21st, 2012
As a teacher, I know how important it is to always have a first aid kit on hand in case one of my students gets into trouble. Of course, I wish to never have to use it. On the other hand, as a full time teacher, part time blogger, student, sister and friend, I know how important it is to have my top medicines nearby… especially when work starts getting the best of me. - For the longest time, I’ve been keeping my medicines in an old ca...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

by Cheryl Villareal on May 3rd, 2012
It’s time one again for RunRio’s Run United Series! I’m still so sad that I missed the first leg of this year.. After 2 years of completing the series, it sucks to have missed one. Oh well! What makes Run United/ Run Rio races the best? The infamous Rio dela Cruz did not start out having the best races, there were several bumps and burns here and there. However, what made his races become the best is his abil...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Singaporean Math Workshop with Galileo Enrichment Learning Program
by Cheryl Villareal on Apr 17th, 2012
Singaporean Math is really trending nowadays. I’ve heard a bunch of schools like Xavier already using it to teach the kids. Unfortunately, adults including myself who grew up with the traditional math methods are still having difficulty grasping the concept of Singaporean Math. Good news!! The Galileo Enrichment Learning Program offers so...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Over the past couple of weeks, the picture of this really good looking, semi "Jake Gyllenhaal" look-alike guy has been flooding Facebook pages! I don't blame the people for wanting to share his photo! Girls have even gone gaga for him to the extent of asking him to marry them! Unfortunately for the ladies though... Zeddie is GAY! Xterra and Tesla Sportswear now in the Philippines
by Cheryl Villareal on Apr 2nd, 2012
A couple of weeks ago, I attended the Xterra blog event where the group showed bloggers their line of compression wear for runners. cyclists and the like! I personally have not yet tried the gear so I am unable to give my personal opinion and review on it! But from what I heard, it doesn’t have that funky smell when you sweat unlike normal dri-fit material. So if any of you have tried this, feel free to leave a comment below and share...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Blog the Beat 2.0 from Becca Music
by Cheryl Villareal on Mar 29th, 2012
Last year, my brother’s website, WhenInManila.com was invited to attend the first ever BLOG THE BEAT. As one of his senior writers, I took on the project and got to meet several interesting people. Moreover, all attendees in last year’s event were given tickets to watch Switchfoot’s 2011 Manila concert! Nice! BLOG THE BEAT: Bloggers’ Night I usually feel shy and look quiet when attending blog events. Those who know me know tha...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )
