Takbo.ph Runfest 2013: 5th Anniversary Run
by Cheryl Villareal on Apr 21st, 2013
Ever since their first run back in 2010, I have always anticipated Takbo.ph’s next anniversary run! I found it to be an extremely fun run simply because of the aura exuded that day. Top it off with the personalized singlets and banderitas with every runner’s name hanging right after the finish line, it was awesome! Their succeeding run became a little bit simpler but was still equally fun and enjoyable. I remember host Dj Chloe from Mellow 94...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

by Cheryl Villareal on Apr 19th, 2013
Last April 13, a group of running bloggers including myself were invited for a trail run at Filinvest City near Alabang. I’ve never tried trail running but vave always been curious to so I thought this would be a great chance to start. Question was, where were the trails in Filinvest? I’ve never seriously explored Filinvest but I’ve always thought of it as a business district or residential area. I never knew there were trails! So Ph...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Caribbean Footwear: Comfort and Class for All
by Cheryl Villareal on Apr 9th, 2013
Everyone wears flip flops, besides it being a necessity, it has also slowly become a fashion statement. Personally, I’m not very picky with the brand itself, but I am particularly picky with the rubber used. There’s a particular type of material I like which I find best for flip flops since dirt doesn’t attach easily on it. Moreover, dirt can also easily wash off. Flip Flops: Finding a Good Pair at a Reasonable Price We all need at le...Read More » Tags Share Comments (5 )

Aria’s New Kiddie Menu: Make Your Own Pizza
by Cheryl Villareal on Mar 27th, 2013
As a preschool teacher, I’m always on the lookout for fun activities my students would enjoy and learn from! During field trips, one of our favorite things to do is take the kids to a pizza shop so they get to make their own pizzas! I love the idea because it’s not something the kids can just go and do on any day. It’s something they only get to do on field trips. So when I heard that Aria was offering an addition to their kiddie menu which...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Ocean Adventure Field Trip for All Ages
by Cheryl Villareal on Mar 6th, 2013
I first went to Ocean Adventure in Subic back when I was still in high school. Back then, Ocean Adventure only had the sea lion and dolphin show. Today however, they’ve added 2 more attractions that will surely make both kids and adult not only have fun, but appreciate nature even more. After roughly 8 years… I’m back! This time however, my friends and I got to spend the night at the Camayan Beach Resort! If you’re going to Subic...Read More » Tags Share Comments (3 )

Bono Artisanal Gelato: All Natural Gelato in Makati
by Cheryl Villareal on Mar 1st, 2013
I think I was in high school when people started going gaga over gelato! A variety of gelato shops started opening here and there. Everyone loved it, except me. I still preferred ice cream over gelato, until I tried Bono. There are only 2 gelato shops I loved, one is Café Publico in Greenhills and the other, Bono in SM Makati. I first discovered Bono while I was on my way to Glorietta from the MRT. This corner shop’s light and color...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )
