by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 27th, 2011
Another private school sets up yet another fun run, and this time it comes from no other than Hope Christian High School. The fun run was organized in hopes that proceeds from this event will help raise funds for the Hope Christian High School Scholarship Program. - Education is a valuable thing. We're lucky to have it... so what do you say we share it too? - - What: Run for Our Hope When: November 5, 2011, Saturday Where: SM Mall of...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Kameraman: Photos-To-Go
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 27th, 2011
People love to document stuff. We take pictures of our friends, of the venue and even of the food! Almost everyone loves taking photos, whether it be with their high class DSLRs, digital cameras or even with their cellphones. Slowly, cameras are becoming a necessity or an excessive want. - Back in the days, if we wanted to have memorable photos of an event... we would hire a photographer or two to cover the event. Today, only big events hir...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Operation Smiles Presents “THE 500 SMILE RUN”
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 25th, 2011
"When you create smiles, you change lives, and you heal humanity." This is what Operation Smile believes, and I have to strongly agree with them too. - A month ago, I wrote a blog about MILES FOR SMILES. This run was for the benefit of children with cleft problems. The run was successfully held last week and though I registered to run, I unfortunately DID NOT WAKE UP! I was really sad and down but just thought to myself, at least my registr...Read More » Tags Share Comments (2 )

A Family Tree in Fall
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 24th, 2011
In their song “FAMILY”, the Laurie Berkner band sings, “If you’re in my heart, you’re in my family… if I’m in your heart, I’m in your family.” - When teaching toddlers and young children, we often start our lessons with things that are already common to them. In our case, our lesson moves from the self, to the people around them… the FAMILY. - Most, if not all of the teachers who would read this post have probably ...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Boudoir Dolls Photography: Personal Sessions by Women for Women
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 23rd, 2011
Define sexy... Merriam Webster would define it as being generally attractive or interesting... but exactly WHAT does that mean? In today's generation, I'm guessing around 75% to 80% would tell you that being sexy meant being really thin and skinny but with a huge chest and a full bottom. Which is why I can't exactly blame the thousands of teenage girls (and adults) today who do nothing but DIET. They hardly eat anything that their bones are alrea...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

360 Degrees Fitness Club: Complete the Circuit
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 21st, 2011
Did you know that only 20% of the whole world population exercises? And that 1.5 billion people in the whole world are obese and overweight? We have 650 muscles in the human body... and all are made to move! So get up and move them! Watching exercise videos won't work... out of all the videos.. only 15% of these will actually work for you. - "A gym just opened nearby, let's sign up!" --I often hear my friends say something like this when th...Read More » Tags Share Comments (0 )

Lay Bare Waxing Salon: When You See Hair, It’s Time to Lay Bare!
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 21st, 2011
"Kutkutero!"...I'm not even sure if there is such a word, but that's what my fiance often calls me. The way I understand it, the word refers to someone who keeps noticing the smallest details and meddles with it. In short, if I see a small pimple on my face... I pop it. If I see a lone strand of hair (either mine or someone else's), I pull it. I'm the type of person who has been accustomed to plucking and eventually shaving... but NEVER waxing. ...Read More » Tags Share Comments (1 )

Avira Anti-virus: More Than Security
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 21st, 2011
During the presentations at Blogapalooza: - Guy comes out with his red umbrella, he then proceeds to say, "When you see an umbrella, what does it remind you of?" Bloggers then answer "Rain"... eventually though someone answers "protection". - - In this day and age, computers (preferably with internet connection) are slowly becoming a basic necessity. It is used to write our school papers, make business proposals, do research an...Read More » Tags Share Comments (2 )

A Short PREVIEW of the FIRST Blogapalooza at Fully Booked
by Cheryl Villareal on Sep 19th, 2011
The blogging world is quickly taking over! No longer do business need to pay high prices for ads on paper or on billboards because BLOGGERS are doing all the work. If Starbucks became big through word of mouth, then businesses existing today will have great chances of succeeding through word of the blog! - Last September 17, my brother Vince Golangco of WhenInManila.com had his FIRST ever BLOGAPALOOZA - an event for both businesses and ...Read More » Tags Share Comments (2 )
