Just a few more days to the first ever Run United Philippine Marathon! Are you guys ready?
Unilab Active Health and RunRio know that completing a marathon is not an easy task. It takes months of training, not just physically but also mentally.. And so to make the 42k runners feel their effort’s worth at the first ever Run United Philippine Marathon, here are some of the thing the organizers have in store for you!
1. Exclusive Red Carpet Finish
A few meters before the finish line, a red carpet is rolled out for all the 42km finishers! You guys deserve it!
2. Six ( 6 ) tents lined up at the finish line for family and friends
Run United understands that this is a moment your loved ones want to share with you as well. So they’ve allotted tents at the finish line for your family and friends to await your arrival.
3. Cowbells ringing
Cowbells are attached to the tents for the audience or even the participants to ring upon finishing. Imagine those bells and chimes ringing for you. Can you hear it?
4. Be a proud Filipino finisher!
A few meters before the finish line, a marshal will be handing out small Filipino flags so you can wave it as you cross the finish line!
5. Separate categories for top Filipino and International finishers
It is important to acknowledge the top Pinoys too right?
6. And of course, the much awaited finisher’s medal
The medal is HUGE!!!!
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Gawad Kalinga and Children’s Hour
